Partnering Classes

Partnering classes are taught by a Professional Dancer and a former soloist with the Pennsylvania Ballet. The class will introduce and refine technique on Pointe while dancing with a male partner as in Adagio work in a Pas de Deux. Students will learn balancing skills, turns, lifts, dance connections, variations and more, all while being held and supported by a male dancer. These classes are for dancers wishing to strengthen Pointe work and take the next step in advancing ballet technique. The connection of the dancers in a pas de deux (a male dancer and a ballerina) can only be taught in a partnering class.

Dancers that have registered will be notified by Miss Deb if accepted into this serious training program.  Some will be waitlisted if not quite technically prepared for working at this level.

Partnering classes are for those at the higher levels in Ballet/Pointe training and those who are serious about furthering their ballet expertise.

Dancers approved and accepted to this class by Miss Deb will be entered on a first-come first-served basis. Please register on our website.
